Choir Concert and Christmas Festivities

Sorry that I haven't had a lot of time to post lately, but you know how its sooo busy this time of year! I had a school choir concert on Thursday, and it went pretty well. We also made gingerbread houses, which I don't have any pictures of. Then on Friday we went to a wedding reception with cousins, had a sleepover here, then left for Tuscon in the morning. We had our traditional talent show and gift exchange with my mom's side of the fam. For my talent, I had been practicing a 6 page Christmas song on the piano for 2 months...JUST for the talent show... and I forgot my music at home!!!!! Waaa!
Oh well, were going down again on Tues., and I will play it then. Again, sorry that I have no time, but I will post pics as soon as I get some.

Tis the Season

 Now that Thanksgiving is over, its starting to feel like Christmas! We put up our Christmas tree/ Christmas lights for FHE, and my Mom, (according to tradition) has been reading us a Christmas book every night. Here are some pictures of us getting into the season.

A week of Thanksgiving!

 This past week, we were gone alot on Thanksgiving vacation! We left on Wednesday to Tucson for Thanksgiving with my mom's side of the family. There was a jumping castle and most of my mom's cousins and their kids were there. It was a blast! Then Friday morning, we celebrated Caleb's birthday. He turned10! Luv ya Caleb! That same day, we headed to Thatcher for Thanksgiving with my Dad's side. We had a great time playing games and spending time with family, since we don't see them as often. Then yesterday we went with some of my family to the movies and shopping. It was a fantastic week! (And, now that Thanksgiving is over, its Christmas season!!! Yay!)  I'll post pictures when I get them...

Family Reunion

Not much to say about this one other then it was a family reunion with my Grandpa's brothers and sisters, and all of their children and Grandchildren! I had a blast with my cousins and such!

 I know eveyone else has already done a post on this, but we got 9 chicks! Each kid got 1 kind of chick, and I got the Americonas. They have gotten LOTS of attention around here, and probably still will for a while.

 We had a great Halloween here! Friday night, we went to our ward trunk-or-treat, Saturday we went to a party, and Sunday we had family over for caramel apples!

 Sorry I haven't posted in a while. We've been pretty busy because of Halloween and all. I looove this nice weather!!! We carved pumpkins the other night, and I will post pics as soon as we get them downloaded!

Josh's Baptism and Kami's Farewell

This past weekend two very exciting things happened! 1. Joshua was baptized!!!! 2. We went to Aunt Kami's farewell!!!:(  

 Joshua is so sweet and kind to his siblings. I am so glad he chose to get baptized! It was a very special day.

And then their was Kami's farewell.:(  She left on her LDS mission, and we went to say goodbye. I'm going to miss her sooooo much! I love you Aunt Kami! Good luck!!!

So I'm back in school now. Somebody told me that whenever you're in school, you wish you were out, but when its out, you wish you were back in. Weird. Totally not true for me.



Fall Break

 Its finally Fall break!!! I'm sooo glad to push school aside for a little while! We have two weeks of fall break, and just got back from a trip to our cabin up in the mountains. We brought some freinds and had a blast!

The other day we went "yardsaling." My Mom bought a buch of chairs, and I found one that I thought would be cute to use in pictures. I bought it myself for $8! I am lovin' it!

Happy B-day Josh!!!!

  Yesterday we celebrated Joshua's  8th birthday! The birthday boy was in a cheerful, helpful, good mood, which pretty much made us all happy. In the morning, we went to the park with some freinds. The rest of the day we had a great time doing whatever. Josh had a pretty tall cake which isn't noticable in these pics.

Josh was SUPER happy with all of his presents. Which were: A card game (magic), Fuzzoodles, glow-in-the-dark stars, bullets for his nerf gun (oh no), an origami set, and a combination lock ( who would want that for their birthday?! Josh I guess. ) Joshua is such a thoughtful, helpful person.

General Conference

  My family has some pretty awesome traditions. Including our LDS General Conference traditions. General Conference was showing today, and we had a great time as usual. Some of the traditions include:

Eating waffles with strawberries, whipped cream. etc.

"Pitching tents" like the people did to listen to King Benjamin

And playing conference bingo. (no pics of that one.) My parents were out of town for the weekend, so a girl from the ward watched us. We had a blast!

My room

  I love being neat. I like to be organized and clean. So you can imagine how upset I am that my room is almost never like this. It seems like whenever I get it perfectly spotless, cousins come to visit or we have a party or something. My room is shared though. That explains it ;) But seriously junk is almost always piled skyhigh. And I'm not joking when I say that you can't even see the floor. It has been clean a few times, and then my sister's closet is piled up twice as high. ( NO picture posted on this one. That's how bad it is.)

Girls Trip

Yesterday, my Mom, Rebecca, and I got back from a weekend girls trip to California. Rebecca had to go get her braces tightened, and my Mom and I decided to go along.




















We stayed with my Aunt, Uncle, and their two kids

We played at the beach, watched movies, and enjoyed the nice weather. Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of these, but I did take some cute pics of Sadie and Kimball: (see below)

It was very hard to keep these two still for the pictures. Especially Kimball! He said cheese for a split second, and then ran up to me and said, " cai see? "  (can I see)  But we had a great time!
